1) Using iPad, go to Control Center by swiping down from the top-right portion of screen. A series of icons will appear.
2) Select the Screen Mirroring icon.
3) Select the Apple TV you wish to connect to via Airplay.
4) When prompted, enter AirPlay Code which will appear on the display the Apple TV is currently connected to. Enter the AirPlay Code then select OK when finished. Display on iPad will now show on the display.
If on-screen code or Apple TV display does not show on the TV, verify that TV input shows the same input the other end of the HDMI cable the Apple TV is plugged into.
5) When finished or connecting another device to Apple TV (Airplay), select Stop Mirroring.
