NWEA State Solutions: English Keyboard Error
When opening the NWEA State Solutions app on the iPad, a device readiness check will be performed. Occasionally the test will fail and give an error code as seen in the image below. When clicking on the Question Mark you will be provided with more information on the error.
If the error message is in regards to needing a "Standard English Keyboard Configuration":
- On the iPad, open Settings and go to General > Keyboard > Keyboards and ensure that the keyboard listed is English(US) with the QWERTY configuration
- In Settings go to Accessibility > Keyboards, ensure that Full Keyboard Access is set to OFF
- If these settings are set correctly, and the app is still having this error, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad (at the very bottom) > Reset. When a menu pops up, select Reset All Settings. The iPad will restart, and all user settings will be set to the default settings.
