NOTE: None of the methods on this page are officially supported by the Tech Department, if you lose a file in your google drive, or other storage services, we can’t help you get them back.

These methods are intended for students who won’t be returning, as all their stuff will be deleted a few months after they leave the district (via graduation, moving, etc.)

Google Drive:

1. Make sure Google Chrome is installed on your device, if not, grab it from Self-Service.

2. Open Google Chrome, and select the little person icon in the top right to sign into your google account if you have one, otherwise you have the option to create one.

3. Once signed into your account, go to “drive.google.com”

4. The page will start you on the ‘mobile’ version of the website, but this version is harder to use. Select the ‘hamburger’ (three lines stacked on each other) in the top left of the page.

5. Under ‘Help’ and ‘Privacy policy’ select ‘Desktop Version’

6. Once the website changes to the desktop version, there is a little plus sign in the upper left that says ‘new’

7. Select that and you will be given several options to upload various files and folders, with further choices to upload pictures, videos, and files.

Backing up Notability to Other accounts:

1. Open Notability on your iPad.

2. Select the gear icon in the upper left corner of the app.

3. Select “Auto-backup” in the menu that appears.

4. Select whichever service you have an account to back-up to (google drive, Dropbox etc.).

5. Log in to the service in the pop-up window with your account information.

6. After logging in, select “Subjects to back up” a little below the services selection.

7. Select everything you want to back up. (Especially the "Unfiled Notes")
